Terracotta Floor in Wiltshire

Terracotta floor cleaning in box near Corsham in Wiltshire. These are Pictures from a recent project to deep clean a Terracotta kitchen floor. Our client had recently moved into their new home and wanted to restore their terracotta floor. The Kitchen floor had clearly been neglected over the years, There was a huge build up of dirt and inappropriately applied topical seals. The job was to strip the old and failing seals from the floor, perform a deep clean of the Terracotta kitchen floor and apply some protection.

This was no easy task, there were layers of seal applied over dirt. In places the grouting had failed and the grout had fallen out and been replaced with seal and dirt.

We began with the application of some of our chosen strippers. These were applied and with the use of appropriate pads and a Carbide brush on a rotary machine the seals were broken down and extracted, Once the seals were removed the floor was given a through deep clean to remove the remaining dirt and flush any contaminants from the Terracotta floor. The floor was then left to dry out before we re sealed the floor to keep it looking great.
