Limestone Flooring

Honing and Polishing limestone
Limestone Floors can be honed or polished to suit the desired look. From a flat matte honed finish, through to a satin shine or super reflective polished finish.
Honing Limestone Floor
A flat matte honed finish or a slight sheen can be achieved by diamond honing the floor. This is achieved by our machine removing microns from the surface to reveal the new beautifully simple contemporary look. This honed finish can be easier to maintain in a busy house, be more resistant to scratches and help to hide etch marks.
It also benefits from being less slippery than a polished floor when wet.

Polishing Limestone Flooring
For that real wow factor. A high polished floor with fantastic clarity and reflection of the surrounds.
A polished look is achived by first honing the floor to remove scratches and etch markings. We then progress through the various pads taking the floor from a matte finish, through various stages of light and satin sheens to the highly reflective powder polished finish. This glossy finish reflects the light and really brings out the details within the stone.
