This is a recent white limestone floor cleaning in Sunningdale near Ascot. The limestone tiles ran through the Kitchen floor , large hallway and toilets areas and required a thorough deep clean of the tile and grout lines. This is a client we have been working for for a number of years and it was great to be able to help get the Limestone floor looking great for them. We began by performing a free no obligation demonstration whilst on site. This gave us the opportunity to ensure we could meet the requirements and work out timescales and costs and the client was able to see what the floor will look like after the cleaning.
Like most jobs, we began the job by removing the kickboards within the kitchen and preparing the surrounding area for a safe and thoughtful clean. Once the areas were protected, we could begin to clean the limestone floor. The limestone tiles and grout were cleaned with our oscillating machine and rotary scrubber, Our specialist cleaning product was applied to the tile and grout and this began to break down the years of grime, the oscillating machine was used to draw the dirt from the grout lines for extraction and rinse. We also used some polishing powder to abrasively cut through the dirt.
Some areas through the main entrance hall around previous rug locations required a diamond polish to completely
Once the deep clean of the tile and grout was complete the hall and Kitchen floor was left to dry before returning the next day to apply a tile sealer. The impregnator we used kept the matt look required and will provide protection against everyday spills whilst remaining breathable for the tile. It also helps with maintainance of the floor.
